That is the case for the Tennessee Titans and Indianapolis Colts, dating back to the days when the Titans played in Houston and were known as the Oilers. The Titans franchise has won two world championships, both of which came back in the AFL days. In current times, they have appeared in one Super Bowl, losing to the Rams in 1999 after winning their opening round playoff game on the play dubbed as the “Music City Miracle”. The Colts have had significantly more success, and have been one of the league’s most consistent franchises. With their two world titles and their strangle hold on the AFC South, they have set the bar high for all of their rivals. Lately, this rivalry has been very heated because these two teams are typically at the top of the list in the division. Tennessee won the South in 2008, stopping a run of five straight titles for the Colts. |

I have to admit the game between the Indianapolis Colts vs Tennessee Titans is a very tough game to handicap. Tennessee is favoured by 4 and with good reason. They are undefeated and have more or less dominated the opposition in every outing. The Colts have yet to wake up. They appeared to have rediscovered their dominant form in their impressive 31-3 thumping over Baltimore 2 weeks ago. Then they get demolished by Green Bay last week. |
