danny coale2* Selection: GT +3

Both teams have been impressive this year. Virginia Tech is 5-1 and has already defeated Nebraska and Miami (FL). They were impressive against Alabama as they were winning in the fourth quarter in their opener against Alabama. However the Hokies are only 3-3 ATS this season.

Georgia Tech is also 5-1 and 4-2 ATS and covered its last 3. They beat the spread in their matchups against NC State, at Mississippi State and last week at Florida State. The Hokies are averaging 34.2 points per game while the Yellow Jackets are scoring 33.2 points per game. The big difference between the two opponents is their defenses. Virginia Tech is allowing 17.7 points per game while Georgia Tech has allowing 26.5 points per game. Virginia Tech is the better team but not on the road, not tonight! Their only official road game was against Duke where they only won by 8 but failed to cover as a 17 point favorite. This game will be close but like we saw last week Georgia Tech can score anytime from anywhere. Yellow Jackets win this game outright.
