Washington Redskins @ New York Giants: Over/Under

Jason Campbell was excellent in the preseason opener against the Colts but since then has been playing quite poorly completing 11/24 passes (45.8%) totaling 70 yards, averaging 2.9 yards per play. If he continues to struggle against the Giants powerful defensive corps, the Redskins will not be putting up many points on the board. It is important to note that the Panthers sacked Campbell 4 times by utilizing blitzing schemes similar to the Giants. Even without Umenyiora, the Giants are still going to apply immense pressure on Campbell. |
| I expect Eli Manning and the Giants to come out victorious in this game between the Giants vs Redskins, but not to completely blow out the opponent. The Giants have some solid offensive play makers with the likes of Manning, Burress, Jacobs and Toomer) but the Redskins are not going to let the Giants have their way on the field without a fight. In 2007 they were seventh in the league in yards allowed, averaging 305.1 yards per game. The Giants were eighth allowing half a yard more. These two teams have a defensive mindset. The total was under the last 5 times they played each other in New York.
Prediction: Giants 24 Redskins 10 |
