adrian peterson3* Selection: Bears +11

The Vikings and Bears are heading in totally different directions with two quarterbacks that have most people scratching their heads. Brett Favre has the number 1 quarterback rating in the NFL at 112.7. He has 21 touchdowns and only 3 interceptions this season while leading the Vikings to 9-1 and 6-3-1 ATS and 1st place in the NFC North. The Bears QB Jay Cutler has not lived up to expectations this season.

He has a thrown 15 tds to 18 picks. Chicago is 3rd in the NFC North at 4-6 and they are 4-6 ATS as well but are only 1-5 overall and ATS in their last 6. Minnesota is outscoring their opponents at home this season by an average of only 10.4 points per game. They can thank their last 2 home wins of 17 vs. Detroit and 26 vs. Seattle to bump that total up. This is their 3rd straight home game and they are looking to essentially lock of the division. The Bears are still in wild card contention but a loss here could end that and end their coach’s tenure as well. Minnesota will most likely win the game but I expect the Bears to keep it close.

Lay the number on the Bears.
