3* Selection: Arizona -10

The Cards have been absolutely sensational in their last two contests, defeating Seattle 27-3 and the Giants 24-17 both on the road. Arizona’s defense stepped up in those two contests forcing 6 turnovers. Fortunately, the Cards have the luxury of facing one of the weakest offenses in the league this week. The Panthers are averaging only 15.7 points per game.

One of the main reasons for this poor offensive output is due to the fact that Jake Delhomme leads the league with 13 interceptions. The Panthers rely heavily on their ground attack to move the ball. They will have an extremely tough time doing this against the Cards since Arizona has the best rush defense in the league. The outcome of this contest is quite predictable. The Panthers will likely not score more than 10 points since they won’t be able to get any kind of offense going. The Cards won’t have any problem scoring points so I expect them to easily win this one by double digits. Lay the number on Arizona.
