This is game is an absolute must win for the Panthers who are currently 0-2. If they fall to 0-3 their chances of making the playoffs this year are almost slim to none. The bottom line is that this is a primetime football game and they are going to bring their A game. This line is too inflated. In reality the Cowboys should not be favored by more than a score.
Although they have proven that they can score they have had a lot of difficulty stopping the opposition. They rank 26th in points allowed (27) and 30th in yards (438.5). Delhomme had a much better performance in week 2 against Atlanta completing 25/41 passes for 308 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interception. If he can be this effective against Dallas than the Panthers will easily cover the number. Dallas is 0-4 ATS in its last 4 Monday night games and 1-4 ATS in its last 5 home games as a 3.5 to 10 point favorite.
