The Broncos are undefeated because they have played an excellent brand of defense ranking 1st in points allowed (6.5) and 2nd in yards allowed (239.8). However, the reality is their four previous opponents; Cincinnati, Cleveland, Oakland and Dallas are clearly inferior to New England.
Denver is off to a hot 4-0 start while the Patriots had an impressive win against Baltimore last week to improve to 3-1. Everyone knows the big story is new Denver and former New England coordinator Josh McDaniels. I fully expect Bill Belichick to keep this offense rolling. Both teams are able to dominate defensively but offensively the Broncos are not comparable to New England. I expect a fairly low scoring game but the Pats win and cover by at least a touchdown.
