Bet 5 units (7 unit system).

There is a substantial amount of value in this play. There is every reason to believe that the Bruins will take this one.

1) Montreal has been playing quite poorly as of late. The Habs have dropped 4 of their last 5 games and were outscored 22-12 by the opposition during that stretch. One of the main reasons for their struggles is that they have performed quite poorly defensively. Montreal has allowed 26 goals in their past 6 contests. They are facing the second most productive offensive team in the league. The Bruins are scoring an average of 3.5 goals per game. Expect Boston to light up the scoreboard.

2) Boston is too strong defensively for the Habs. The Bruins have allowed only 112 goals, the third fewest amount of goals in the NHL. If they have a lead in the third period, the game is theirs. The Habs have proven to have a diffcult time scoring lately against Boston. Montreal has managed to score only 4 goals during their past 3 contests against Boston and consequently lost each of those games.

3) Boston is now almost a completely healthy team. This makes the first place team in the Eastern conference even more dominant.
