Dallas Mavericks @ Indiana Pacers

3* Selection: Dallas -2.5

Dallas has won their last 6 of its last 7 and is 11-4 overall and 10-5 ATS this season. On the other side of the equation, Indiana has lost 4 of their last 5. The Pacers are both 6-7 straight up and ATS this season. Continue Reading »

Orlando Magic @ Charlotte Bobcats

2* Selection: Charlotte +4

The public is all over the Orlando Magic on this one. This team got destroyed by Oklahoma City 102-74 two days ago so there is no question that they will be fired up for this one. However, we cannot ignore the value that we are getting on the Bobcats. Charlotte is 3-0 at home this season and 5-0 ATS in its last 5 overall

New Jersey Nets @ Charlotte Bobcats

2* Selection: OVER 175

I find that this total is a little low considering that the Nets are allowing an average of 104.3 points to the opposition. The Bobcats have not been too effective offensively this year, averaging only 80 points per game but you have consider the fact that two of their 3 contests were against the Celtics and Cavs, two of the NBA’s defensive powerhouses.

Denver Nuggets @ Portland Trailblazers

Kevin Durant2* Selection: UNDER 200

There is a lot of value in playing the UNDER in this one. The Trailblazers are a defensive powerhouse as they allowed only 94.1 points per game to the opposition last season, ranking 4th in the NBA. They looked solid defensively against Houston last Tuesday, limiting the Rockets to 87 points. The Nuggets on the other hand are coming off a hard fought win at home last night.

Sacramento Kings @ Oklahoma City Thunder

Kevin Durant2* Selection: Sacramento +7.5

This is a meeting between two of weakest teams in pro basketball. The line is significantly inflated. Last season the Thunder only won 3 of its first 32 contests. They didn’t look much better in the preseason going 2-5. One of those losses was at home versus the Kings.
