What happened to Michigan in the 2nd half last week? They got ran down at the 1 yard line, couldn’t punch it in and then the whole game turned to Illinois at which point they became unstoppable. Michigan got off to a hot 3-0 start but since then they are 1-4 in their last 5 games and 0-4 in Big Ten play. This week they are hosting a 2-6 Purdue team that is 2-3 in Big Ten play but had a huge win vs. Ohio State 3 weeks ago.

3* Premium Selection: LSU +7.5
If you want to talk about the toughest places to play in all of college football, Baton Rouge and Tiger Stadium would have to be on top of the list. This is especially true when talking about night games, where LSU has traditionally be close to impossible to beat. The Tigers are off to a good start in 2009, but now they have quite a test on their hands with top-ranked Florida coming into Death Valley this week.

The Mississippi Rebels came into this year with a great deal of hype, and the air came out of that balloon a couple of Thursday nights ago when they dropped one at South Carolina. Meanwhile, the Alabama Crimson Tide have been their usually dominant selves, rolling through just about everyone in their path.

When the Sooners and Hurricanes get together on Saturday night, Miami will have another chance to make a statement. The Canes have gotten a lot of hype this year and Oklahoma has fallen off the national radar since losing their opener, so this game is quite intriguing.
