This will be one of the most exciting matchups of the season. I find that the total is inflated based on public perception. Everyone knows that the Colts and Pats can put up huge numbers. However, one thing that is very important to consider is that these teams can play some defense too. The Colts rank first in points allowed, while the Pats rank second. Peyton Manning and Tom Brady are Hall of Fame quarterbacks but the reality is that they are each facing a very strong pass defense.

The Seahawks are the type of team that can easily get creamed by strong opponents but can also completely dominate weaker opponents when they are playing in Seattle. They already shut out the Rams and the Jags this season, outscoring them by a combined margin of 69-0. The Detroit Lions clearly fit the profile of a team that can easily can trampled by the Seahawks.

5* Platinum Selection: Minnesota -3

A lot of bettors are backing the Ravens under the assumption that Baltimore will not lose three in a row. This is a big mistake because Baltimore is overrated. The Ravens lost Defensive Coordinator Rex Ryan as well as a few defensive playmakers in the offseason. This loss appears to be clearly hurting the Ravens defensively. Last year Baltimore was allowing an average of 15.2 points per game and 261.1 yards, ranking third and second in the NFL.
